Yellow Cab Ignites The Burning Passion of the Hungry

At the very core of each human being is a hunger waiting to be fueled. Yellow Cab Pizza Co., a brand famous for its generous 18” New York-style pizzas, takes a step further on fueling not only peoples physical hunger, but also their hunger for greatness.

After introducing the #NoStoppingTheHungry campaign with eight Hungry Influencers – legendary rock band Up Dharma Down (UDD), electro-pop musician Skymarines, Fliptop founder Anygma, Ron Poe of P&P tattoo, Mark Javellana of Philippine Wresting Revolution (PWR), Eric Giganto of KAYA Futbol Club and streetwear and lifestyle brand founders Vince and Emil of Don’t Blame The Kids, Yellow Cab pushed the limits of fueling people’s hunger further by calling out to the public to join Pitch Your Hunger, an online contest where anyone with a burning passion can submit their 30 second video entries to Yellow Cab.

Whether it was recording their own music, funding a start-up, or pursuing a passion project, Yellow Cab opened the opportunity to take people one step closer to their dreams.

Yellow Cab received over 100 pitches featuring entries that showcased the different things that people were hungry for; film, music, entrepreneurship, fashion, charitable causes, and more! From there, the top 30 shortlisted finalists were invited to the Grand Pitch, which happened at Burgos Eats, BGC last November 25.

At the event, the finalists had only 30 seconds to make their live pitch to convince a panel of judges for one last time, why they are the hungriest.

“It is amazing to know that there are a lot of people who are just needing a platform to voice their hunger. We, as a brand, are very ecstatic to fuel their hunger.” – Mark De Joya, Yellow Cab’s Brand Development Director

The top 20 winners were awarded each with a P20,000 hunger grant by Yellow Cab in support of continuing their passion projects. All entries are viewable at Yellow Cab’s microsite –
